Beer Me Up Scotty sessionable Mai Tai

A beer lover’s take on the classic.

For those who love a good beer cocktail, this twist on the Mai Tai is sure to satisfy.

Ingredients

1 oz. dark rum blend (Apothecary uses 1/2 oz. Plantation O.F.T.D. Rum and 1/2 oz. Bounty Dark Rum)
1/2 oz. curaçao
1/2 oz. orgeat
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
Top with cream ale

Tools:shaker, strainer
Glass:rocks
Garnish:dehydrated orange wheel, mint sprig

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients, except the cream ale, to a shaker, shake, and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Top with the cream ale and give it a light stir to combine. Garnish.
