Aperol Rosé Sangria

An easy sangria recipe for those last-minute summer get-togethers.

Nothing says summertime like Aperol, rosé wine, fresh berries, and a bit of bubbles. This sangria recipe from Sips of the Season author Sarah Gualtieri features all of that and is easy enough to throw together for last-minute get-togethers.

Ingredients

Yield:6
  • 750 ml/3 cups rosé wine
  • 1/2 cup Aperol
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • club soda, to top
  • Tools:large pitcher, long spoon
  • Glass:wine
  • Garnish:citrus wheels, summer berries

Preparation

Pour the rosé, Aperol, and syrup into the large pitcher. Add the berries and citrus slices and stir to combine. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Pour into wine glasses filled with ice. Top each glass with a splash of club soda. Garnish with extra fruit.
