In our November/December 2018 issue, we explore how fizzy Italian wine Lambrusco got its groove back, and this Lambrusco cocktail is the perfect option for brunch. “It’s somewhere between a French 75 and a Mimosa,” says Bryan Galligos, bartender at Il Solito. “Plus, Lambrusco is delicious and more people should drink it.” No argument there.
4 oz. chilled Lambrusco
1 oz. Cappelletti Aperitivo
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Garnish: lemon twist
Build the drink in the glass and garnish with the expressed lemon twist, trimmed and placed on the rim.
