"This cocktail was inspired by dreams of summer beach days in the midst of winter," says Tera Richardson, head bartender of Elk St. Tavern. "I wanted something crushable and refreshing that gave people a taste of the beautiful days to come." She describes this cocktail as a cross between an Espresso Martini and a Jungle Bird where she replaces the tropical classic's Campari with coffee liqueur while bumping up the tropical notes with passion fruit liqueur.
