Following the tradition of naming cocktails after a city, neighborhood or landmark (think the Manhattan, Toronto, etc.), the Wraggborough is a nod to the historic neighborhood near Charleston’s Upper King Street.
1½ oz. bourbon
¾ oz. madeira (Blanton uses Charleston Sercial Madeira)
¼ oz. Luxardo maraschino liqueur
2 dashes orange bitters
Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Garnish: orange twist
Stir all the ingredients together with ice, then strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish.
