Thai basil lends an herbaceous flavor to this Daiquiri riff from TiER in Berlin.
2 oz. light rum (TiER uses Banks 5 Island)
1 oz. fresh lime juice
⅔ oz. simple syrup (1:1)
5 leaves of Thai basil
Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer
Garnish: Thai basil leaf
Muddle the Thai basil in a shaker, then add remaining ingredients. Shake with ice, then strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
