Strava Cream: A Rosé Cocktail

Strava Cream rosé cocktail

A summery rosé cocktail with a kiss of strawberry sweetness.

Acee Frances Laird of Dominican and Trinidadian vegan restaurant Healthy as a Mother created a light yet indulgent rosé cocktail for warm-weather days. Fresh strawberries complement the wine while a light layer of aquafaba foam transported Laird to his childhood. “It was just like having strawberry shortcake for the first time,” he says. 


  • 3 oz. rosé
  • 1 oz. vanilla syrup
  • 1/2 oz. aquafaba
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. elderflower tonic water (HAAM uses Fever-Tree)
  • 3 strawberries (2 to muddle, 1 for garnish)
  • Tools:shaker, strainer, fine-mesh strainer
  • Glass:coupe
  • Garnish:strawberry and grated cinnamon


Add 2 strawberries and the vanilla syrup to a shaker and muddle. Add the rest of the ingredients to a shaker with one ice cube. Shake and double strain into a chilled glass. Garnish.
