Queen of the Rodeo: A Cosmo Recipe

At the Dolly Parton-inspired Nashville bar, White Limozeen, the cocktails are a mix of high-low as evident in this “gussied-up” Cosmo recipe, a riff on the modern classic. Here, the cocktail trades out Cointreau and cranberry juice for a combo of maraschino liqueur, grapefruit juice, and homemade grenadine.


  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1/4 oz. maraschino liqueur
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 oz. grenadine
  • Tools:shaker, strainer
  • Glass:coupe
  • Garnish:lime wheel, a dusting of edible pink glitter (optional)


Add all of the ingredients to a shaker along with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish.
