This subtly smoky riff on the classic Negroni heads south of the border swapping in mezcal for the traditional gin.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. mezcal (Means uses Del Maguey Vida)
  • 1 oz. Campari
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • Tools:mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
  • Glass:rocks
  • Garnish:lemon peel

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir with ice. Strain over one large ice cube into a chilled glass and garnish.
