Fireside: A Tropical Pumpkin Spice Cocktail

For a pumpkin spice cocktail with a tropical twist, Jason Asher, owner and drink creator of Phoenix’s award-winning bar UnderTow, built this rum cocktail using Jägermeister to give the pumpkin flavor a boozy and spiced backbone.

Ingredients

  • Tools:spindle mixer (or shaker)
  • Glass:snifter
  • Garnish:mint sprigs, smoking cinnamon stick

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients to the shaker with 2 cups of crushed ice and spindle mix. (Alternatively, shake all of the ingredients without ice until the mixture foams.) Dump into the glass and top with crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and light a cinnamon stick on fire with a lighter.
