Blueberry Boat

Thai basil adds an herbal kick to this blueberry cocktail from Minneapolis bartender Pip Hanson. It’s a perfect summer cocktail.

10–15 fresh blueberries
3 oz. gin
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
10 Thai basil leaves
Tools: shaker, fine-mesh strainer
Glass: flute
Garnish: 3 blueberries

Muddle the blueberries in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients, shake with ice, double-strain into a flute and garnish.
