Cognac and rye share the spotlight.

For his take he classic Sazerac, Fandi Mata Beverage Director Milos Zica combines a split base of Cognac and rye, then plays up the drink’s spice with cinnamon syrup.


  • Tools:mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
  • Glass:Nick and Nora


Add first five ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir. Spray absinthe on the glass or do an absinthe rinse. Strain the stirred mixture into the glass, express a lemon peel over the rim, and discard the peel.
