For a fresh way to drink your veggies this season, try this booze-free carrot spritz. The recipe from The Fat Radish offers a delicious medley of ginger, lemon and carrot juice.
3 oz. fresh carrot juice
1 oz. ginger syrup
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
1 drop vanilla extract
1½ oz. ginger beer (Mlynarczyk uses Fever-Tree)
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: wine glass
Garnish: carrot curls and a sprig of parsley
Add all of the ingredients except the ginger beer to a shaker and shake hard for 5 seconds with ice. Pour the ginger beer into the shaker, then strain the contents into a glass over fresh ice.
