Assunita mezcal amaretto cocktail Saint Theo

The vodka classic by way of Italy.

Since every cocktail at Saint Theo’s is a nod to an Italian name, ingredient, or garnish, beverage director Simon Sebbah transformed the Moscow Mule into an Italian Mule by sweetening it with amaretto.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. mezcal
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. amaretto
  • Top with ginger beer (Saint Theo's uses Fever-Tree)
  • Tools:shaker
  • Glass:highball
  • Garnish:lime wedge

Preparation

Add the ingredients, except the ginger beer, to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Pour into a highball filled with crushed ice and top with ginger beer, then garnish.
