Equal parts sweet, tart and floral, this summery highball is a keeper.
1½ oz. gin
½ oz. elderflower liqueur
½ oz. fresh grapefruit juice
¼ oz. fresh lime juice
¼ oz. simple syrup (1:1)
Club soda, to top
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: grapefruit wheel
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a shaker tin with ice. Shake until chilled. Fill a Collins glass with fresh ice and strain contents of mixing tin into the glass. Top with club soda. Garnish.
