The Midtown

Light and refreshing, this sparkling cocktail riffs off the classic French 75.

1 1/2 oz. Hendricks gin
3/4 oz. grenadine
2 dashes rose syrup (Snackbar uses Kalvert)
2 lemon wheels
6 mint leaves
Sparkling wine
Ice cubes
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: flute
Garnish: lemon twist

Combine all ingredients, except sparkling wine, and shake with ice. Strain into a flute, top with sparkling wine and garnish.
