Parisian Dispatch: A Blanc Vermouth Cocktail

Blanc vermouth lends an herbaceous base to this elegant mix from Sother Teague. “Make it a Royale by substituting Champagne” for the soda water, Teague suggests.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. blanc vermouth
  • 1/2 oz. absinthe
  • 1/2 oz. orgeat
  • 3-4 oz. chilled soda water
  • Tools:barspoon
  • Glass:Collins
  • Garnish:fresh mint

Preparation

Add the first 3 ingredients to a chilled glass with ice. Stir to combine. Add more ice to fill, and top with chilled soda water. Garnish.
