Headless Horseman Cocktail

Aiming for a pumpkin spice–inspired cocktail for fall sipping, Leyenda bartender Ryan Lilioa devised this delicious blend.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. cachaça (Leyenda uses Novo Fogo)
  • 1 1/2 oz. canned pumpkin pie purée
  • 3/4 oz. coconut cream
  • 1/2 oz. St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
  • 1/2 oz. cinnamon syrup
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. fresh orange juice
  • Tools:blender
  • Glass:tiki mug
  • Garnish:lime shell, sugar cube doused in rum, cinnamon

Preparation

Blend all of the ingredients in a blender with 1 cup of ice. Pour into a mug or glass. Garnish with a lime shell filled with sugar cube doused in 151-proof rum and dyed red with food coloring. Carefully light the cube on fire and sprinkle with cinnamon (optional).
