Grinchhopper: A Grasshopper Recipe


A festive cocktail with a bitter edge.

What makes this Grasshopper-inspired holiday cocktail particularly Grinch-y? A half ounce of Fernet.


  • 3/4 oz. creme de cacao
  • 1/2 oz. Fernet Branca
  • 1/2 oz. creme de menthe
  • 1 oz. cream
  • 3 mint leaves
  • Tools:shaker, strainer
  • Glass:Nick & Nora
  • Garnish:candy cane and mint leaf


Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a glass. Garnish.
