Negroni Week 2022 Marks a Decade of Celebrating and Giving Back

Presented by Imbibe and Campari, Negroni Week 2022 is taking place September 12-18, which means in just a couple of months, bars and restaurants around the world will once again join forces to celebrate one of the most iconic cocktails while raising money for a good cause.

Our 2022 Giving PartnerThis year marks the 10-year anniversary of Negroni Week, and in an effort to transform Negroni Week’s giving in a way that allows the initiative to have the biggest impact possible in the most sustainable way possible, we are excited to announce that Negroni Week will have a single global nonprofit partner: Slow Food.

We’ve chosen Slow Food as the official Negroni Week charity for 2022 because in addition to the organization being a longtime Negroni Week partner, it addresses many of the needs that participating Negroni Week venues and the hospitality industry have been most interested in supporting over the past 10 year: sustainability, education, equity, and diversity, all centered around hospitality, food, and drink.

With a global footprint, Slow Food has chapters and initiatives in countries and cities around the world, and it is an organization with roots in Italy, the birthplace of the Negroni. “We’re so grateful that Imbibe and Campari have come together once again to celebrate a delicious cocktail, the Negroni, and rally bars and restaurants around the world during Negroni Week to advance the Slow Food pursuit of good, clean, and fair food for all,” says Anna Mulè, Executive Director of Slow Food USA.

Slow Food represents the ethos of Negroni Week to cultivate community and seek a better world for all through hospitality, and we are thrilled to be able to support their transformative work, and to build on the more than $3 million that Negroni Week has raised for charitable causes to date.

Additional Updates To ensure that Negroni Week has a meaningful fundraising impact, this year the minimum upfront donation for each participating venue will return to USD $25, though venues will have the option to donate any amount above that, and as in year’s past, they will be able to top off their initial donations after Negroni Week. Venue registration will be open on the Negroni Week website at the beginning of August, at which point we will also be launching a newly designed negroniweek.com.

Keep an eye on your inbox for more of the latest updates and details about the upcoming festivities, including some extra-special Negroni Week merchandise, and in the meantime, get ready by mixing yourself a Negroni!
