This equal-parts beauty pairs the richness of bourbon and sherry with the bright sweetness of banana liqueur and lemon juice.
1 oz. bourbon
1 oz. amontillado sherry
1 oz. banana liqueur (Rodgers uses Giffard Banane du Brésil)
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: dehydrated lemon wheel (or fresh lemon wheel)
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake to combine. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish.
