Golden Hour: A Ginger Sour

This ginger sour by Lady Jane’s Stuart Weaver is flexible enough to be enjoyed with vodka, gin, or bourbon. “Each base spirit brings out a different personality of the cocktail,” he says. “Vodka showcases the brightness and balance of the drink, gin highlights the citrusy complexity, and bourbon complements the spicy, earthy depth of ginger.”
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. vodka, gin, or bourbon
- 1/2 oz. ginger syrup
- 1/2 oz. fresh orange juice
- 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
- Tools:shaker, strainer, fine strainer
- Glass:coupe
Preparation
Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake. Double strain into a chilled glass.
