A summery take on the classic Scotch cocktail.

The Rusty Nail may be a classic winter warmer, but bartenders at Bunny Slope and Bodega saw frozen potential in the scotch-based standard.

Ingredients

2 oz. blended scotch whisky
3⁄4 oz. Drambuie
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
1⁄2 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
1 pinch salt
12 oz. crushed ice

Tools:blender
Glass:footed pilsner or Collins
Garnish:lemon peel

Preparation

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish.
