The classic combo of iced tea and lemonade gets a twist. 

Playing with the framework of the classic Arnold Palmer (a simple mix of iced tea and lemonade), Lee Zaremba introduces vodka and a refreshing hibiscus syrup to the mix in this update.

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz. vodka
  • 2½ oz. chilled black tea
  • ¾ oz. hibiscus syrup
  • ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • Tools:shaker, strainer
  • Glass:Collins or highball
  • Garnish:2 thin lemon wheels

Preparation

Shake all of the ingredients together in a shaker with ice, then strain over crushed ice. Garnish.

Hibiscus Syrup: Add 12½ grams of dried hibiscus leaves to 2 cups of 1:1 simple syrup. Heat on medium-high for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and cool in ice bath. Strain, and store in fridge.
