French 75 Riff

Calvados and sparkling rosé steal the show in this sprightly variation.

At OK Omens in Portland, Oregon, bartender Alex Blair combines sparkling rosé with Calvados in this extra-aromatic riff on the French 75.

Ingredients

1 oz. Calvados
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
½ oz. rich simple syrup (2:1)
2 oz. demi-sec sparkling rosé

Tools:shaker, strainer
Glass:small Collins
Garnish:lime wheel

Preparation

Shake the first 3 ingredients in an ice-filled shaker, then add the sparkling rosé to the shaker (but don’t shake) and strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish.
