A refreshing aperitif from Sydney.

This spritz recipe is tailor-made for Sydney’s long, warm days.

Ingredients

1/2 oz. London dry gin
1/2 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
2/3 oz. fino sherry
2/3 oz. fresh lemon juice
2 1/2 oz. chilled prosecco

Glass:wine
Garnish:sprig of fresh basil

Preparation

Combine all the ingredients in an ice-filled wine glass and garnish.
