Bourbon Cocktail: Fallen Patriot

Loosely inspired by the classic Lion’s Tail, this bourbon cocktail from bartender Nicholas Flower strikes a beautiful balance between baking spice flavor, vanilla, and fresh citrus.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. bourbon (Flower uses Elijah Craig)
- 3/4 oz. Licor 43
- 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/4 oz. allspice dram
- 10 mint leaves
- Tools:shaker, strainer
- Glass:coupe
- Garnish:mint sprig
Preparation
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish.
