Montana Daiquiri

An Imbibe 75 bar’s take on classic Cuban Daiquiris.

This popular house Daiquiri recipe from Montana Hong Kong is a nod to classic Cuban Daiquiris from a 1930s Cuban bartender manual and the historic El Floridita bar.

Ingredients

1 3/4 oz. white rum (Montana uses Havana Club)
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/3 oz. rich simple syrup (2:1)
1 tsp. maraschino liqueur
1 tsp. framboise eau de vie

Tools:shaker, strainer
Glass:coupe
Garnish:maraschino cherry

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients, except the eau de vie, to a shaker filled with ice. Shake hard and strain into a chilled glass with a maraschino cherry at the bottom. Float eau de vie on the surface.
