Rye Cocktail from Meauxbar

Fresh lime juice and banana liqueur perk up this rye cocktail from Meauxbar in New Orleans.

1 oz. rye whiskey
1 oz. Calvados
½ oz. fresh lime juice
¼ oz. Giffard Banane du Brésil
¼ oz. Allspice Dram
1 barspoon Demerara syrup (1:1)
1 dash Angostura bitters
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: coupe

Shake all the ingredients together in a mixing tin with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe.
