The Kirkwood

This drink is named after an Atlanta neighborhood and is bartender Miles Macquarrie’s contribution to the “red hook” family of drinks.

1 1/2 oz. rye whiskey
1/2 oz. Punt e Mes
1/2 oz. Cynar
1/2 oz. St. Germain
2 dashes grapefruit bitters
Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Glass: cocktail
Garnish: grapefruit peel

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir with ice until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish.
