Juice Bar Swizzle

A simple salt solution makes the flavors of this cocktail pop.

1 1/2 oz. reposado tequila
1/2 oz. fino sherry
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
6 drops of 10% salt solution (10:1 hot water to salt, cooled)
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: Pilsner
Garnish: freshly cracked black pepper

Combine all ingredients and shake with a little cracked ice until it’s melted. Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice and garnish with a few turns of the peppermill.
