Island Time: A Rum Negroni

In this tropical take on the classic Negroni, rum stands in for gin while banana liqueur enters the equation.


  • 1 oz. dark rum
  • 1 oz. sweet vermouth (McKamey uses Cocchi di Torino) 
  • 1/2 oz. Campari
  • 1/2 oz. banana liqueur (McKamey uses Giffard)
  • Tools:mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
  • Glass:rocks
  • Garnish:lime twist


Stir all of the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, then strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube and garnish.
