Cini Tini: A Dirty Martini

For a Mediterranean twist on the Dirty Martini, Juliana Fisher, assistant general manager of Charleston cocktail bar Bar 167, adds a touch of pepperoncini brine. The result is a savory vodka cocktail with a sweet, peppery kick.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1/2 oz. olive brine
  • 1/4 oz. pepperoncini brine
  • 1/4 oz. dry vermouth
  • splash of water
  • Tools:shaker, strainer, dropper
  • Glass:coupe
  • Garnish:stuffed olive on a pick, drops of olive oil and Peychaud's bitters

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until cloudy cold. Strain into a chilled coupe. Using a small dropper, add 3 drops of olive oil and a drop of Peychaud’s bitters on the cocktail’s surface to replicate a pimento-stuffed olive.
