A smooth mix of mezcal, sherry, amaro and bitters.

Sherry and amaro bring warmth and depth to the mezcal in this Oaxacan Smoking Jacket cocktail from Barrio in Seattle.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. espadín mezcal (Barrio uses Los Vecinos del Campo)
1/2 oz. oloroso sherry
1/2 oz. Amaro CioCiaro
1/4 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
8 drops mole bitters (Barrio uses Bittermens)

Tools:barspoon, strainer
Glass:rocks
Garnish:orange peel

Preparation

Stir all of the ingredients with ice, strain into a glass holding a large ice cube, then garnish.
