Scotch, nocino, Bénédictine and bitters make for perfect wintertime sipping.

This cocktail from Grand Army in Brooklyn is bold enough for a winter night, with Scotch cutting through the richness of walnut liqueur and Bénédictine.

Ingredients

2 oz. blended Scotch whisky
½ oz. nocino (such as Nux Alpina)
¼ oz. Bénédictine
3 dashes Angostura bitters

Tools:barspoon, strainer
Glass:cocktail
Garnish:cherry

Preparation

Stir the ingredients with ice to chill, then strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
