Night Nurse Bespoke Imbibe 75: a Tropical Negroni Riff

A tropical Negroni with banana and coffee notes.

A layered, tropical Negroni, the Night Nurse builds on a base of Jamaican rum, dials up the bitterness with a splash of Cynar, and adds complementary hints of coffee and banana.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. aged Jamaican rum
  • 1 oz. Punt e Mes
  • 3/4 oz. Campari
  • 1/2 oz. overproof Jamaican rum
  • 1/4 oz. Cynar
  • 1 tsp. banana liqueur
  • 1 tsp. coffee liqueur
  • Tools:barspoon, strainer
  • Glass:double rocks
  • Garnish:orange twist

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients to a mixing glass and stir with ice to chill. Strain into a double rocks glass with a large ice cube, then garnish.
