Capulina From Clavel Mezcaleria

Coffee, amaro and mezcal create a heavenly mix of smoke and spice in this cocktail from Clavel Mezcaleria in Baltimore.

1½ oz. mezcal espadín
1½ oz. cold-brew coffee
1 oz. evaporated milk
¾ oz. Henri-Vallet Amargo (or amaro of your choice)
½ oz. agave nectar
5 drops Bittermens Xocolatl Mole bitters
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: rocks
Garnish: star anise, ground cinnamon

Shake all the ingredients together with ice in a shaker. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish.
