Jalisco Maid

Combining fresh mint and cucumbers with citrus, a generous pour of tequila and a pinch of salt, this cocktail offers a savory flavor of summer.


2 oz. blanco tequila

1 oz. fresh lime juice

3/4 oz. simple syrup (1:1)

6 fresh mint leaves

2 thin cucumber wheels

2 turns of cracked salt (roughly a healthy pinch)

Ice cubes

Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer

Glass: rocks

Garnish: mint sprig and cucumber wheel


Combine all ingredients and lightly muddle. Shake with ice cubes, strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish.
