Taking notes from the classic espresso and tonic, this fancy reinvention adds a little bump of spice from fresh ginger.
1 oz. cold-brew coffee
½ oz. fresh grapefruit juice
½ oz. tonic syrup (Sweet Afton uses Haber’s)
¼ oz. fresh ginger juice
Splash soda water
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: double Old Fashioned
Combine the cold-brew coffee, grapefruit juice, tonic syrup and ginger juice in a shaker. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a glass over a single large ice cube. Add a splash of soda water.
