Strange Weaver

In case the Negroni isn’t summery enough for you, SF bartender Dominic Alling created this crushed-ice mounded refresher to bring the classic cocktail into the realm of the near-tropical.

1 oz. rum
1 oz. gin
¾ oz. Cocchi Torino
½ oz. Campari
¼ oz. lemon juice
½ oz. orgeat
Tools: shaker tin, strainer
Glass: rocks
Garnish: fresh orange zest

Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin with ice and shake. Strain into a glass filled with fresh crushed ice. Garnish.
