What comes to mind when you hear the name Shirley Temple? Most likely, images of the cherub-faced 1930s child star, or maybe the ruby-red fizzy drink that shares her name. At Los Angeles' legendary Musso & Frank Grill, the "Shirley Temple's always a staple," says general manager Andrea Scuto. While the recipe remains by and large unchanged since it was created in the 1930s, Musso & Frank prefers lemon-lime soda over ginger ale and always garnishes with at least three maraschino cherries.
