Drink of the Week: Montinore Estate Roulette Pinot Gris

On 200 acres in the northern end of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Montinore Estate grows varieties like Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewürztraminer on Demeter-certified biodynamic land. Their estate-grown Pinot Gris is harvested and fermented individually by vineyard block, allowing head winemaker Stephen Webber to select a specific lot for their special Roulette bottling each year. This dry Pinot Gris is an explosion of tropical fruit with heady aromas of passion fruit and guava, followed by bright flavors of citrus zest and a crisp salinity. Pair it with bright, flavorful salads for the perfect segue into spring. $30, montinore.com
