A Southern-inspired tribute to a whiskey classic.

As a nod to the many Manhattan variations named after New York neighborhoods, Jeremy Buck created this Charleston-inspired take on the classic. His Society Street features a bourbon base and a hint of peach in tribute to the South with Cognac for the city’s French influence.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. bourbon
  • 1/2 oz. Cognac
  • 1/2 oz. Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
  • Scant 1/4 oz. peach liqueur
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Tools:mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
  • Glass:Nick and Nora
  • Garnish:lemon twist

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients to a mixing glass, fill with ice, and stir. Strain the glass. Garnish.
