This sweet little number comes from bartender Brynn Smith of Sotto in Los Angeles. We love it’s smoky, unabashed bitterness. True to the spirit of the Negroni, but a cocktail all its own.
1½ oz. reposado tequila
½ oz. Campari
½ oz. Dolin dry vermouth
½ oz Carpano Antica
¼ oz. Braulio Amaro (or another herbal amaro of your chosing)
Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Garnish:orange peel (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe, garnish if desired.
