Van Gogh Daiquiri

Van Gogh Daiquiri blue blended cocktail

A blended mix of of gin, ginger, jasmine, and mint.

The famed painter never visited the Caribbean, but bartender Abigail Gullo took artistic license by introducing Van Gogh’s character to this colorful mix. The aqua color comes from blue curaçao, and the drink also highlights ginger, citrus, mint, and jasmine. “These ingredients meld nicely together with gin, creating a balanced, refreshing frozen cocktail that’s not cloyingly sweet or tart,” Gullo says. “It also gets a creamy coconut rinse, adding an element of the tropics.”

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. gin
  • 1/2 oz. ginger syrup
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz. mint-jasmine syrup

  • 2 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz. coconut milk
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Tools:blender
