Strange Brew: A Twist on the Espresso Martini

Strange Brew coffee amaro cocktail

A coffee lover’s cocktail.

Adam Morgan, bar manager of Nashville’s Husk, wanted to create his take on the ubiquitous Espresso Martini, one “that’s reflective of Husk’s ethos, while being fun and approachable for everyone.” Tequila serves as the backbone for the coffee, which is introduced through a coffee amaro, chilled coffee, and homemade coffee cordial. The result is a cocktail that’s “rich, bold, and semi-bitter from leaning on the amaro but still hits all the right notes to be a crowd-pleaser,” says Morgan.
