The Aladdin Sane's She'll Come, She'll Go

According to Patrick Jobst, beverage director of Imbibe 75’s The Aladdin Sane in Detroit, this quaffable vodka cocktail was created as “an homage to [David] Bowie’s examination of fleeting youth and the impermanence of youth” in his song “Lady Grinning Soul.” Bittersweet grapefruit and tart lime paired with the floral notes of the rosé sake make the cocktail go down easy.

Ingredients

1 oz. vodka
1 oz. fresh lime juice
3/4 oz. Dolin Blanc
1/2 oz. grapefruit liqueur
sparkling rosé sake, to top

Tools:shaker, strainer
Glass:Collins
Garnish:grapefruit peel

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients, except the sake, to a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into the glass, add the grapefruit ribbon so it wraps along the inside of the glass. Then add ice and top with the sparkling rosé sake.
