Not Another Drink Named Strawberry Fields

Genever blends beautifully with strawberry, vanilla, and graham-cracker infused cream in this dreamy dessert cocktail.


  • 1 whole strawberry
  • 1 1/2 oz. genever
  • 1 oz. vanilla syrup
  • 1 oz. graham-cracker infused cream
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 fresh egg white (pasteurized, if you like)
  • Club soda, to top
  • Tools:shaker, strainer
  • Glass:Collins
  • Garnish:skewered strawberry slices


In a shaker tin, muddle the strawberry, then add the remaining ingredients and dry shake. Add ice and shake again to chill. Strain into a Collins glass, top with soda and garnish.

Graham Cracker-Infused Cream: Crumble 4 cinnamon graham crackers and add to 8 ounces of heavy cream. Leave to infuse for about 3 hours, then strain.

Vanilla Syrup: Make 1 cup of 1:1 simple syrup. Add 1 split vanilla bean and let infuse for 2 hours as the syrup comes down to room temperature. Strain and bottle for up to 2 weeks.
