Sparkling Aperitivo Cocktail

Cocchi Rosa and gin anchor this sparkler.

Rose syrup gives this sparkling cocktail a lovely floral accent.


  • 1 1/2 oz. Cocchi Rosa Aperitivo Americano
  • 3/4 oz. gin
  • 1/2 oz. rose syrup
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz. dry sparkling wine
  • Tools:shaker, strainer, fine strainer
  • Glass:cocktail
  • Garnish:dried rose buds, fresh edible flowers


Shake the first four ingredients with ice, then double strain into a chilled glass and top with chilled sparkling wine, and garnish.

Rose SyrupIn a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a simmer, then pour into a mixing bowl holding 10 grams of organic dried rose petals. Let steep for 10 minutes, then strain, pressing solids to extract the liquid. Add 1 cup of sugar and stir to dissolve.
