Hot Pimm’s Cup From Dauphine’s

Hot Pimm's Cup hot classic cocktails

A warming version of a sunny-day classic.

As an ode to his hometown of New Orleans, Neal Bodenheimer wanted to create hot versions of Crescent City favorites for his Washington, DC, restaurant, Dauphine’s. The Hot Pimm’s Cup became an early favorite of the winter warmers. Turns out the refreshing, low-ABV classic translates well into a hot, tea-like sipper.

Ingredients

  • Tools:barspoon, microplane
  • Glass:glass mug
  • Garnish:Whole cinnamon stick, Dehydrated lemon slice

Preparation

Combine the first three ingredients in a glass mug, then top it off with around 5 oz. of hot water. Grate cinnamon on top and garnish with dehydrated lemon slice.
